Patricia Dame Grafft, 84, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville.

She was born on November 22, 1941, in Detroit, MI, to the late Lula Dawson Dame and Clarence Dame. She was a secretary for Madisonville Contractors and also for True Value. She enjoyed writing poems and gardening. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and her family. Patricia was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Hatcher; and her brother, Paul Dame.

Her survivors include her daughter, Renay Grant of Madisonville; son, Matthew Grafft; siblings, Joyce Klaft of Michigan, Buddy Dame of Arizona, and Kathy Browning of Madisonville; grandchildren, Dustin Grant, Sawyer Grafft, and Wilder Grafft; great-grandchildren, Brialeigh Grant and Braxton Grant; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
