Willie Mae Nance, 82, of Madisonville, Ky., died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at her home.

She was born December 27, 1926, in Hopkins County, Ky., to the late William Thomas Phillips and Mamie Tyson Phillips. She was a homemaker and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Nance who passed away on February 28, 1989; two sisters, Wanda Dunn and Mary Osborne.

She is survived by two sons, Paul "Tudor" Nance and William Gordon Nance both of Madisonville; one stepson, James Marvin Eden of Henderson, Ky.; one brother, Marvin Phillips of Madisonville; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, Ky. with Rev. Marvin Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
