William Bruce Pryor, 60, of Nebo, Ky. passed away at 9:53 p.m. on Thursday January 27, 2011 at his home.

He was born on September 19, 1950 in Hopkins County, Ky. to the late John Pryor and Birchie Gipson Pryor. He was retired from General Electric in Madisonville, Ky. and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Pryor and Dallas Pryor; two sisters, Ruby Staser and Linda Hosmer and four infant brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Jesse Salmon Pryor of Nebo, Ky.; two daughters, Laura Pryor and Andrea Benson Pryor both of Slaughters, Ky.; a son, Eric (Marie) Pryor of Nebo, Ky.; one step-son, Ryan (Tamara) Duckett of Bedford, IN.; one sister, Ann Sigler of Providence, Ky.; two brothers, Henry Pryor and Sidney Pryor both of Providence; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday January 29, 2011 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Brian Gatlin officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at Harris Funeral Home.
