William "Wayne" Duncan, 83, of Hanson, KY passed away at 8:55 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

He was born on November 19, 1928 in Manitou, KY to the late Virginia Keller Duncan and James Duncan. He was retired as a plant manager for Coca-Cola Bottling Company and was formerly a manager with Bowles Feed Mill. He enjoyed farming and had been a farmer since 1986. He attended Olive Branch Church in Hanson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Duncan; three brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his two sons, Jerry (Lynda) Duncan of Nashville, TN and Alan (Charlotte) Duncan of Hanson; his sister, Nellie Cates of Chandler, IN; his granddaughter, Katrina D. Mullins of Hanson; his grandson, Brian Duncan of Columbia, TN; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his step-granddaughter, Lisa Smoot of Nashville, TN and his step-grandson, Mark Davis of Georgetown, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Gary Taylor and Dr. Tom Branson officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Church Cemetery in Hanson.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Duncan, Adam Duncan, Jason Duncan, Eric Duncan, Mitch Hampton and Greg Bowles.
