Wanda Joyce Gentry Hunter, 68, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at her home.

She was born on July 11, 1946 in Madisonville, KY to the late Catherine Gentry and Jake Gentry. Wanda worked for thirty-four years as a lunch room manager for the Hopkins County Board of Education.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Hunter and a brother, Jimmy Gentry.

Survivors include a daughter, Johnna Davis of Madisonville; brothers, Troy Gentry and David Gentry both of Madisonville; granddaughter, Taylor Davis of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Mike Shocklee officiating. Burial to follow in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Gentry, Turner Vaughn, Jody Shelton, Corey McKinley, Hunter Carter and Antonio Davis.

Memorial contributions may be made in Wanda's memory to the Hopkins County Humane Society.
