Wanda Jean Adkins Beeny, 84, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Henderson, KY.

She was born on August 7, 1941, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Mary Holman Adkins and Austin Adkins. She was formerly employed as a machine operator for General Electric. She enjoyed attending band events. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and her family. Wanda attended Soul's Harbor Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Beeny.

Her survivors include her sons, Tim (Catherine) Beeny of Henderson and Jeff (Debbie) Beeny of Paducah, KY; sister, Glenda Vanmeter of Madisonville; granddaughter, Felicia (Colby) Beeny Morgan of Princeton, IN; grandsons, Brandon Beeny of Henderson and Nicolas Beeny of Louisville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Kellan Lamb officiating. Burial to follow at Silent Run Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Tim Beeny, Jeff Beeny, Brandon Beeny, Nicolas Beeny, Colby Morgan, and Raymond Hayden.
