Orvil "Von" Levon McGregor, 72, of Manitou, KY, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

He was born on August 2, 1951, in Ilsley, KY, to the late Golena Stallins McGregor and Orvil McGregor. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a self-employed delivery driver. He enjoyed mechanic work and working on and restoring his 1951 Ford truck.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby McGregor.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-nine years, Rosa Brooks McGregor; sons, David (Kimberly) McGregor of Evansville IN and Dylan (Taylor) McGregor of Manitou; sister, Caria Rhye of Nortonville and Gloria Lamb of Madisonville; grandchildren, Samantha McGregor, Sydaleigh McGregor, and Cooper McGregor; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2023, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Ron Meredith officiating. Burial to follow at Concord Cemetery in Manitou, KY. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Army.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are David McGregor, Dylan McGregor, Barry Brooks, Dan Hamby, Samantha McGregor, and Zack Oldham. Honorary pallbearers are D.J. Steeley and Travis Wallace.
