Vicky Martz, 55, of Sturgis, KY passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN.

She was born on November 8, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN to Florida Whiteman and the late Jim Whiteman. Vicky retired from Toyota where she worked in the quality department.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Whiteman.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Martz; mother, Florida Whiteman of Diamond, KY; daughters, Tina Cowles and husband, Billy of Franklin, KY, Brandy Tichenor of Sturgis and Amanda Tichenor of Madisonville; sons, James Derrick Tichenor, Edwin Martz and Daniel Martz all of Madisonville; sisters, Connie Cowan and husband, Kevin, Cathy Nally and husband, Jerry, Rachael Blackwell and husband, Steve and Stacy Whiteman; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Don Bunch officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Edwin Martz, Daniel Martz, James Tichenor, Justin Shacklett, Tyler Cowan and Jake Cowan.

Contributions may be made in Vicky's memory to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
