Vickie Nelson, 69, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at her home.

She was born on February 20, 1955, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Druzella Coffman Nelson and Marvin Nelson. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Vickie was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ellis, Layton, Daryl, and Norman; and her sisters, Gloria and Betty.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Jones of Madisonville; son, Michael Jones of Madisonville; sisters, Dottie, Judy, Linda, and Sandy; granddaughters, Samantha Jones and Madison Jones; grandsons, Jaydn Jones, Kody Jones, Braxton Jones, and Austin Jones; and one great-grandson.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Liberty Baptist Church in Madisonville with Bro. Tondra Daugherty officiating. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
