Troy Holmes' Obituary
Troy Holmes, 54, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at his home.
He was born on March 12, 1963 in Madisonville, KY to the late Mary Ruby Holmes and Alvin Earl Homes. Troy attended Dawson Springs Primitive Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Holmes.
Survivors include his brothers, Larence Holmes of Onton, KY, Bennie Holmes of Madisonville, Darrell Holmes of Dalton, KY, Paul Holmes of Madisonville, Clinton Holmes of Rumsey, KY, Nelson Holmes of Dawson Springs, Wesley Holmes of Dalton and Tracy Holmes of Dawson Springs; sisters, Mildred Cunningham of Madisonville, Peggy Holmes of Dawson Springs and Rosemary Starks of Rabbit Ridge, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial to follow at Dalton Cemetery in Dalton, KY.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at the funeral home.
