Treva Frances Ramsey, 84, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 11:21 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.

She was born on June 28, 1928 in Elkhart, IN to the late Clarence Smith and Otie Goldie Smith. She was a wife and homemaker of sixty-six years. She was a member of Richland Baptist Church since 1953 where she was a Sunday school teacher for thirty-five years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Loyd Ramsey; two daughters, Diana (Robert) Florea of Madisonville and Nancy (Anthony) Wilson of Manitou, KY; her son, Steven (Susan) Ramsey of Jacksonville, FL; three sisters, Audrey, Jean and Leona; her brother, Doug Smith; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Jim Lantrip officiating and Bro. Greg Gaddis assisting. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Florea, Josh Florea, Matthew Florea, Tyler Wilson, Ben Ramsey and Corey Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Vandiver and Cameron Vandiver.

Memorial contributions may be made to Richland Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
