Anthony "Tony" Erwin Hunter, 69, of Nortonville, KY, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

He was born on September 25, 1955, in Pell City, AL, to the late Viola Marie Lee Hunter Hall and Erwin Hunter. he was a self-employed logger. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

His survivors include his son, Tash Hunter of Alabama; brothers, Fredrick Alan (Holly) Hunter of Cropwell, AL and Charles Russell (Rusty) Hunter of Cropwell, AL; sister, Merry Jane Hummel of St. Petersburg, FL; niece, Jamie Leigh Davis McCree; nephews, Christopher Chase Hunter and Matthew Cole Hunter; and friends and neighbors, Donald Brown and Matthew Brown, both of Nortonville.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Cropwell, AL. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
