Tony Crews, 78, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at his home.

He was born on July 15, 1938 in Union City, TN to the late Susie and Luther "L.E." Edgar McCollum. Tony was a United States Navy Veteran who served in the Korean War. He was a retired coal miner from South Hopkins Coal Company and was a member of Pond River Missionary Baptist Church. Tony enjoyed watching Nascar racing and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Benjie Crews and Joseph "Joe" Crews; his brother, Andrew Crews; half-brother, Joe Larry Crews; and half-sister, Joan Langford.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-seven years, Patricia Crews; daughters, Tammy Taylor and husband, Steve of Madisonville and Lisa Christainsen of Georgia; sons, Anthony Crews of Madisonville and Terry Crews of Florida; brother, Richard Crews and wife, Joey of Madisonville; sister, Faye Bailey and husband, Wayne of Madisonville; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2016 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Shaun Vickery and Bro. Ron Doss officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Concord Cemetery in Manitou, KY.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the service hour Friday at the funeral home.
