Terry Lee Farmer, 78, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, at his home.

He was born on May 23, 1947, in Evansville, IN, to the late Wanda Milum Farmer and Acre John Farmer. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed trains. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Farmer; son, Terry Farmer II; and his sister, Debbie Shadrick.

His survivors include his daughter, Carrie Atherton of Madisonville; several brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Mary Chapman, Kayla Hall, and Terry Farmer III; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
