Susan Duncan Nichols, 64, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016 at her home.

She was born on December 3, 1951 in Madisonville to the late Jewell and George Duncan. She retired from Kroger after thirty-three years where she mostly worked in the deli department. Susan enjoyed gardening, cooking, feeding humming birds and loved her dogs.

Survivors include her husband of twenty-one years, Keith Nichols; sisters, Barbara Trowbridge of Sullivan, KY and Celia Duncan Gooch of Grand Rivers, KY; brother, George "Buddy" Duncan and wife, Shigeko of Morganfield, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Bill Bruce officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Wes Gass, Brandon Trowbridge, Derek Trowbridge, Toby Hughes and Evalds Jurans.

Memorial contributions may be made in Susan's memory to Hospice of Western Kentucky.
