Sue Edwards Bingham, 91, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville.

She was born on September 7, 1924 in Hanson, KY to the late Claribel Ashby Edwards and Robert Brown Edwards, Sr. Sue graduated from Bisbee High School in Arizona where she met the love of her life, Garth Fe Bingham, who recently passed away on March 3, 2016. After high school they married and before Garth's passing celebrated seventy-two years of marriage. She and Garth loved to travel to Arizona often to attend their High School War Years Reunions.

Sue was a self-employed bookkeeper at Robards Drugstore in Madisonville and was a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville. She enjoyed reading and fishing. She and Garth in their later years enjoyed bird watching and the outdoors.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Barry Earl Bingham and James Neal Bingham; and brothers, Robert Brown Edwards, Jr. and James David Edwards.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan St. Clergy and husband, Steve of Florida; three step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2016 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Dr. Stephen Seaford officiating. Burial to follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Hanson, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Sue's memory to the First Baptist Church in Madisonville. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
