Steven M. Wing, 62, of Fountain, CO passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020.

He was born on June 22, 1958 in San Pedro, CA to Rosemarie Vasquez Wing and Russell Wing. Steven retired as a Zoologist and his favorite study was the bats, where he lovingly gained the nick name Batman from his friends and colleagues. He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francisco and Rosa Vasquez and Wayne and Lois Wing; and his nephew, Richard Rooks.

Survivors include his mother and father, Rosemarie and Russell Wing of Arkansas; daughter, Stephanie (Kalib) Hays of Fountain, CO; brothers, Kevin Wing of California and Gregory (Linda) Wing of Tennessee; grandchildren, Andrew Hays, Zachary Hays and Lily Hays; nieces, Brittani Wing and Ivy Wing; nephews, Dalton Wing and Robert Rooks; Godmother, Arlene Vasquez; former wife, Merry Wing; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, KY was entrusted with care.
