Steven Lee "Skeeter" Berry, 53, of Manitou, KY passed away at 7:31 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2013 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on January 16, 1960 in Buzzard Bay, MA to Linda Siria and the late Prentice Berry. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Germany. He was a self employed carpenter and was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffery Berry.

He is survived by his mother, Linda (George) Siria of Madisonville; his daughter, Sesiley (Cody) Ayers of Hartford, KY; his sister, Jennifer (Tojo) Curneal of Madisonville; his brother, Gregory Berry of Madisonville; his grandson, Lucas Ayers of Hartford; his granddaughter, Emily Ayers of Hartford; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Tom Branson and Bro. Ronnie Sivell officiating. Burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home.
