Steven Jennings, 81, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Redbanks Colonial Terrace in Sebree, KY.

He was born on May 20, 1942, in Madisonville to the late Thomas and Ida Skillion Jennings. Steven retired as a coal miner with Vogue Mines and also worked at Kenn Mines. He is a member of Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou, KY. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Miller Jennings, and his sister, Patsy Jennings Short.

Survivors include his daughter, Lynn Humphrey and husband Carter of Henderson, KY; son, Brent Jennings and wife Lynda of Marion, KY; and his grandson, Justin Morgan of Henderson.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at the funeral home.

The pallbearers are Carter Humphrey, Justin Morgan and Luke Humphrey.
