Steven Christian, 66, of Providence, KY passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

He was born on December 2, 1955, in Louisville, KY, to the late Patsy Jean Whiteside Christian and Eugene Carlton Christian. He was the former owner and operator of Christian Body Shop in Louisville. Steven loved sports, horse racing, and working on cars. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his son, Chris Christian of Madisonville, KY; step-son, Joshua Guthrie-Detalente of Madisonville; brother, Richard (Judy) Christian of Louisville; sister, Barbara (Kenny) Slaughter of Louisville; grandchildren, Rosalie, Silas, Emmarie, Ethan, & Adrienne Christian; step-grandchildren, Fantasia and Asuna Detalente; two nieces; and one nephew.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Toni Romano giving his eulogy. Burial will be held in Louisville at a later date.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. on Wednesday until the service hour at the funeral home.
