Stephen Tyson, 54, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 8:10 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

He was born on August 31, 1958 in Madisonville, KY to the late Edith Marty Tyson and Reynolds Tyson. He was formerly a Salesman for Norman Boggess in Madisonville. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Kaye Tyson; two sons, Aaron (Karen) Tyson and Brad Tyson; two daughters, Molly Smiley and Meagan Tyson all of Madisonville; four sisters, Tonya Downs of Madisonville, Brenda Tyson of Earlington, KY, Jeannie Hoot of Hanson, KY and Kelly Conrad of Rumsey, KY; his brother, David Tyson of Madisonville; his granddaughter, Kylee Tyson; three grandsons, Aadyn Tyson, Braedyn Tyson and Landyn Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Mathis Conrad officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Tyson, Brad Tyson, Timmy Franklin, Karen Tyson, Molly Smiley, Meagan Tyson, Anthony Murdock and Merideth Harris.
