Sonja Jackson Millwood, 65, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

She was born on March 20, 1959, in Nashville, TN, to the late Glenda Jackson and James Jackson. She enjoyed helping at her church and working with the church program, Little Sisters. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Sonja was a member of Abundant Grace Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Millwood; daughter, Tabatha Harp; and brother, Mike Jackson.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-six years, Jimmy Millwood of Madisonville; sons, Trey Millwood of Madisonville, Jeff Harp of Nashville, TN, and Justin Harp of Burns, TN; grandchildren, Brayden, Connor, Cara, Dean, Everleigh, and River; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
