Shirlene Gilliam, 83, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at her home.

She was born on August 21, 1938, in Lewisburg, KY, to the late Velma Whitson Gorrell and Otha Brigance. She enjoyed junking for yard art and absolutely loved her cats. Shirlene was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Gilliam; and her brother, Murry Gorrell.

Survivors include her children, Rebecca (Jo Ann) Gilliam of Clarksville, TN, Daniel R. (Donna) Gilliam of Bruceton, TN, Carol Massey of Madisonville, and Melissa (Betsy) Gilliam of Lascassas, TN; sister, Doris Jo Canler; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.
