Sherry Lee Dochow Jones, 67, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at her home.

She was born on August 8, 1959, in Miami, OK, to the late Winnie Lee Miller Ellison and Marion Nelson Dochow. She worked for Landstar Ligon as dispatcher for twenty years and then worked as the office manager for the Hopkins County Child Support Unit for another twenty years. She approached everyone she met with compassion and kindness. She has left a tremendous mark on this world and made the lives of those around her fuller because she was in it. Sherry enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Phyllis Dochow.

Her survivors include her daughters, Stephanie D. (Brian) Bowles of Madisonville and Belinda Jo (Adam) Brady of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Allen Ordal, Trevor Johnson, Kaleb Townsell, Connor Bowles, Melanie Snyder, Macallister Gray, Ashten Snyder, Alyssa Brady, and Mallory Bowles; great-grandson, August Bowles; and her cherished friend of thirty years, Jeff Peyton.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held.
