Devona "Shawn" Lewis Brasher Branson, 52, of Madisonville, KY originally from Nortonville, KY passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at her home.

Shawn was born on June 23, 1969, to Cynthia Wright Lewis Hopkins of St. Charles, KY and the late Alan Pat Lewis of Nortonville. She was a homemaker and had previously worked in home health care. Shawn was a member of the United Methodist Church of Nortonville.

She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Alan Pat (Shirley)Lewis; grandparents, Lastel and Regina Lewis of Nortonville; grandparents, Ed and Jeanette Wright of Evansville, IN; and her grandmother, Geneva Wright of St. Charles.

Survivors include her husband of seven years, Anthony Shawn Branson; mother and stepfather, Cynthia and Wayne Hopkins of Paducah, KY; her
son, Zachary Brasher and fiancée, Courtney Dow of Godley, TX; brother, Shane (Susan) Lewis of Nortonville; and niece, Jade Lewis of Nortonville.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.
