Madisonville
Our beloved Sharon Gail Kistner, 70, left us for her Heavenly home Friday, December 2, 2022, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
Sharon was born on December 22, 1951, to the late Aaron Jefferson Satterfield and Dorothy Jean Hulsey Satterfield and was raised in Nortonville KY but was a resident of Madisonville KY most of her life. Sharon loved horses and rode her horses as often as possible. She graduated from South Hopkins High School and held several jobs, the most rewarding was her sitting with and caring for senior citizens. Sharon and her husband Charlie were foster parents to over forty children. Sharon was a member of Christian Assembly Church in Madisonville, KY. She spent her life serving God. Sharon was active in Church Outreach in Madisonville and inviting families to come to Church. She was generous and kind in giving money, food, and clothes to her community and to missions in other countries. Sharon prayed all of the time and was known to pray for people at Walmart or grocery stores. She made it her mission to share Jesus with everyone she came in contact with. Sharon loved vacations with her family, especially going to the Smokie Mountains. Sharon was dearly loved and treasured by all who knew her. She loved her church, church family, family, and friends with all of her heart. When Santa needed helpers, for over thirty years Sharon and her husband would lovingly play Santa and Mrs. Claus in Madisonville and other cities where needed.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in Heaven by her beloved husband, Charlie Kistner; brother, Barry Joe Satterfield; and cousin, Cathy Satterfield Payne.
Sharon left behind a host of family and friends who rejoice knowing they will see her again in Heaven.
A memorial to honor our beloved Sharon will be held at a later date. Please check at a later date for service times. The Memorial Service will be held at Christian Assembly Church in Madisonville and will be officiated by Rev. Roy Ellis. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
