Sharon Y. Ives, 56, of Madisonville, KY. passed away at 3:10 a.m. on Monday August 30, 2010 at her home.

She was born on August 22, 1954 in Cadiz, KY. to the late Mary Louise Simpson and Melvin Simpson. She was formerly employed with Wal-mart Tire and Lube Center as a greeter. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Lynn Ives.

She is survived by three daughters, Angela Ayers of Crofton, KY., Sherri (Jerry) Patterson of Manitou, KY. and Christina Bivens McGee of Madisonville; one son, John Ives of MO.; one step-son, Travis Ives of IL.; six brothers and sisters; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.
