Sharon Osburn Gibson, 71, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

She was born on March 8, 1951, in Madisonville to the late Tina Pearl Ford Osburn and John Lee Osburn. She retired from Medical Records at Baptist Health in Madisonville. She loved reading and doing needlepoint. Sharon was of the Christian faith.

Her survivors include her husband of forty-nine years, Bobby Gibson; brother, Bob Osburn of Madisonville; sister, Joanna Lovan of Mortons Gap, KY; father-in-law, G.G. Gibson of Mortons Gap; sister-in-law, Peggy Vanover of Sacramento, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Dennis Coombs officiating and assisted by Pastor Jerry Brewer. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery in Nebo, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are David Todd, Alan Buchanan, David Cates, Dennis Howe, Will Rodgers, and Keith Browning.
