William Shannon Boykin, Sr., 77, of Owensboro, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville, Ky.

He was born on June 4, 1947, in Darling, MS to the late William Edward Boykin and Lily Dell Howell Boykin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Logan; and sister, Mary Jane Burrus.

He is survived by his children, Shannon (Tonya) Boykin, Dawne (Bill) Magee, Gena (Terry) Dill, Michelle Lovin, and Edward (Lindsey) Boykin; thirteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Per Shannon's wishes there will be no service. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.
