Troy Scott Tomblingson, 65, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on May 31, 1960, in Hazel Park, MI, to Norma Lantaff Stone and the late Daris Tomblingson. He retired from the City of Madisonville where he worked as the Assistant Superintendent for the Water Filtration Plant. He was a 1978 graduate of Madisonville North Hopkins High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley, bowling, golfing, and grilling. He was an avid UK Basketball fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary W. Tomblingson.

His survivors include his wife, Debbie Brown Tomblingson of Madisonville; mother and stepfather, Norma and Rudy Stone of Madisonville; son, Darin (Megan Fuller) Tomblingson of Madisonville; sisters, Terrie (David) Taulbee of Madisonville and Debbie (Jim) VanBeek of Michigan; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved chocolate lab, Riley.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Ruby Rickard officiating and assisted by Jamie Lutz. Burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Brad Brumfield, Keith Curneal, Timmy Moore, Tony Ford, Paul Martz, and Tony Sisk. Honorary pallbearers are Dennis Stanley and Bill Bingham.
