Scott Phillips, 45, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on July 11, 1973 in Madisonville to the late Betty Phillips. Scott was employed with Baptist Health and was a member of First General Baptist Church. He was a Uk Basketball and Dallas Cowboy Football fan and he enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren. Scott was an organ donor and though his life ended early his compassion to give others the gift of life spoke of his true character.

Survivors include his wife of sixteen years, Kim Phillips; sons, Maverick Phillips of Madisonville, Jon Hibbs of Henderson, KY and Alex Wood of Madisonville; daughters, Tiffany Baker and husband, Clint of Nortonville, KY, Brook Hibbs and Amber Hibbs Walker both of Madisonville; brothers, Jay Jackson and wife, Tammi of Morganfield, KY and Walter Jackson of Madisonville; sisters, Sue Pendley and husband, Tim and Kim Bearden and husband, Jeremy both of Nebo, KY; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonivlle with Bro. Alan Menser officiating. A private burial will follow at Old Salem Cemetery in Mortons Gap, KY.

The visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour Saturday at the funeral home.
