Sarah Lou Crowe, 89, of Madisonville, Ky. passed away at 9:55 p.m. on Monday February 21, 2011 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

She was born on March 19, 1921 in Manitou, Ky. to the late Charles and Eva Oldham. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gwen H. Crowe; two brothers; three half-sisters and three half-brothers.

She is survived by two sons, Michael (Loretta) Crowe of Manitou and David (Joan) Crowe of Bowling Green, Ky.; a brother, Crosby Oldham of Tremont, Ill.; a grandson, Brian Crowe of Washington, D.C.; a granddaughter, Ashley Crowe of Bowling Green, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday February 25, 2011 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Charles Lutz officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Nebo, Ky.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at Harris Funeral Home.
