Sandra Fay Tyson Carroll, 55, of Madisonville, Ky. passed away at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday February, 23, 2010 at her sons home in Graham, Ky.

She was born March 13, 1954 in Henderson, Ky. to Margaret Morrow Tyson and the late Elvis Tyson. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She loved her family and her beloved dog Little Bit.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Rayburn E. Carroll on March 17, 2003; one step grandchild, Tiffany Ann Holland; a half sister, Crystal Tyson.

She is survived by her mother, Margaret Morrow Tyson of Anton, Ky.; two daughters, Crystal Trover of Manitou, Ky. and Raven Gatten of Madisonville, Ky.; a son, Shane Faughender of Graham, Ky.; two sisters, Patricia Tyson Mitchell of Greenville, Ky. and Laquetta Tyson Grisham of Madisonville; two half sisters, Joan Koontz of Arizona and Shirley Bozell of Greenville, Ky.; two brothers, Elvis D. Tyson of Bowling Green, Ky. and Gregory D. Tyson of Anton, Ky.; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday February 26, 2010 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with David Fackler officiating. Burial will be in Old Salem Cemetery in Mortons Gap, Ky. Pallbearers will be Tyler Faughender, Cody Trover, Corey Wheeler, William Gatten, Mike Madison and Gary Mitchell.
