Sandra Huddleston Truitt, 65, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on July 19, 1955 in Madisonville to the late Francis Hunt Huddleston and Chester Huddleston. Sandra was a member of the Greater Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Madisonville. She enjoyed puzzles and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Gipson; and her sons, Elvis Gipson and Joseph Gipson.

Survivors include her husband, Perry Truitt of Madisonville; son, Jimmy (Stephanie) Gipson of Madisonville; daughters, Christy (Ricky) Williams of Madisonville and Leslie Gipson of Hopkinsville, KY; sister, Betty Jagoe of Madisonville; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Robbie Knox officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home.
