Sandra "Sandy" Smith, 48, of Madisonville, KY. passed away at 12:49 p.m. on Friday May 14, 2010 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

She was born on August 15, 1961 in Cook County, IL. to the late Nora Parkest Lee and Buck Lee. She was formerly employed with Senior Citizens Nursing Home in Madisonville as a Med-tech. She was a faithful member and soloist at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clate Smith Jr. and one great nephew.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Joe) Johnson of Madisonville; two sons, Christopher Cotton and William (Carolyn) Cotton both of Madisonville; one brother, Dwayne (Lora) Lee of Madisonville; four sisters, Kathy (James) Allen of Earlington, KY., Rhonda (Jerome) Rickard of Madisonville; Kay (Marvin) Mills of Dawson Springs, KY. and Miranda (David) Sharp of Madisonville; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a stepmother, Elaine Lee; three step daughters; Several step grandchildren; two step great granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday May 17, 2010 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Kellan Lamb officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Pallbearers will be Joe Johnson, Chris Cotton, Justin Lee, Shaun Vickery, James Cotton, Jerome Rickard and Donnie Johnson.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at Harris Funeral Home.
