Sandra "Sandy" Lee Keown Duncan Evans, 73, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at her home.

She was born on November 25, 1952, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Chloe Mae LeGrand Keown and James Alvin Keown, Sr. She was formerly employed as a baker for Kroger. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sandra was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo Thomas Duncan; second husband, Earl Evans; daughter, Kellye Mae Gray; and her sisters, Mary Yandall, Janice Faye Sharp, and Reba Nell Cannup.

Her survivors include her son, Rodney (Kimberly) Duncan of Orlando, FL; several brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Nick (Caitlin) Hopper and Paxton Gray; great-grandchildren, Henlie Hopper and Oliver Hopper; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home.
