Sandra Choate, 49, of Nortonville, KY passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at her mothers home.

She was born on February 26, 1967 in Madisonville, KY to Helen Cissna and the late Marshall Cissna. She was a bus driver with the Hopkins County Board of Education. Sandra loved traveling, camping and going to rodeo's and Nascar races. She attended Union Crossroads Church in Nortonville.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-one years, Thomas Choate; mother, Helen Cissna of Nortonville; daughter, Amanda Choate of Nortonville; son, Derek Choate of White Plains, KY; brother, Marshall Cissna, Jr. and wife, Laura of Nortonville; granddaughter, Breanna Gossett of Nortonville; several aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Sandra and her father will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Union Crossroads General Baptist Church in Nortonville with Bro. Barry Noe and Bro. Jerry Williams officiating. Burial to follow at Union Crossroads Cemetery in Nortonville. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation for Sandra and her father will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday at Harris Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at Union Crossroads General Baptist Church in Nortonville.

Pallbearers are Timmy Baldwin, Richard Choate, Steve Choate, Travis Wilson, Bruce Gipson and Anthony Jones.
