Sammy Rhea Ferrell, 60, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Hillside Villa Care and Rehab.

He was born on October 4, 1955 in Madisonville, to Mary Jewel Pirozzoli and the late Kenneth Ferrell. Sammy was self employed doing roofing and construction. He loved fishing in his spare time and was a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandparents and step-father, Charles Pirozzoli who passed away on June 8, 2015.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Jewel Pirozzoli of Madisonville; son, Barry Neal Ferrell of Madisonville; brother, Kenneth Neal Ferrell and wife, Cindy of Madisonville; step-brothers, Charles W. Pirozzoli and wife, Judy of Effingham, IL and Mark Pirozzoli of Topeka, KS; step-sister, Elizabeth Conrad of Providence, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2015 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Hughlan Richey officiating. Burial to follow in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Sammy's memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or Gideons International. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
