Ruth Crabtree Coble, 82, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on August 26, 1931 in Princeton, KY to the late Julia and William Crabtree. She was formerly a nurse at the Hopkins County Hospital and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Franklin Coble; three sisters; three brothers; a grandson, John Randall II and a great-grandson Christian Cummings.

She is survived by her sons, Mike (Vicki) Coble, Gary Coble, Gene Coble, Kelly Coble all of Madisonville and John "Randy" (Chastity) Coble of Dawson Springs, KY; her daughters, Debbie (Orville) Chidester and Becky Stewart both of Madisonville and Kay (Billy) Jernigan of Greenville, KY; her brothers, Kenny Crabtree, Jimmy Crabtree and Carroll Crabtree; twenty-four grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Lawrence Richardson officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home.

Palbearers will be Jeremy Coble, Daniel Coble, Justin Coble, Dustin Coble, Aaron Coble and Bradley Stewart.
