Ruby Crabtree, 89, of Henderson, KY passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at her daughters home in Central City, Ky.

She was born on October 3, 1924 in Calhoun, KY to the late Pansey McDole and Otis Miller. She was a self employed business owner. She was of the Protestant faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kirby Crabtree; and her daughter, Sandra Sandefur.

She is survived by her daughters, Gail Sandefur of Dixon, KY, Martha Cobb of Central City and Connie (Lilburn) Vincent of Bremen, KY; her son, Carl (Patricia) VanOver of Madisonville, KY; her brothers, Jr. McDole of Calhoun, KY, Jim Miller of Gallatin, TN and Joe Miller of South Carolina; her sisters, Mae Hagert and Rose Ann Miller both of Bowling Green, KY; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Bobby Todd officiating. Burial to follow in Crabtree Cemetery in Hanson, Ky. Pallbearers will be the grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at Harris Funeral Home.
