Roy Caleb Geary, 57, of Madisonville, Ky passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 12:54 p.m. at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY.

He was born on September 20, 1955 in Danville, Illinois. He graduated in 1974 from Lewistown High School in Illinois. He was retired from Medical Center Ambulance service after 20 years of service then went on to work for the Disaster Emergency Service and Grapevine fire department as a Engineer, assistant chief and fire chief; he was board certified EMT for over twenty five years and state certified as a firefighter. He was a member of Hopkins County DES and Grapevine Fire Department for over thirty years. He was a member of Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to his father Issac Van Geary he was preceded in death by his brother Marvin Ray Geary.

He is survived by his wife, Raye A. Geary of Madisonville, KY; his mother, Wilma Ann Geary of Madisonville; one son, Benjamin Lee(Amy) Webb of Madisonville, KY; two Godsons, Luke Gordon and Tyler Harris; one half sister Louis Geary of Georgia; a half brother Eric Geary of Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Church of the Nazarene in Madisonville with Bro. Daniel Bradshaw officiating. There will be no visitation prior. Burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
