Ronald Ray "Ronnie" Davis, 74, of Louisville, KY formerly of Madisonville, KY, passed away peacefully to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Louisville East Post Acute Care in Louisville.

He was born on December 3, 1950, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Rosie Jane Cunningham Davis and Ruby Davis. Ronnie was a graduate of West Hopkins High School and was formerly employed at Edwards IGA in Madisonville. He was of the Christian faith.

Ronnie had been in the Louisville nursing home for several years and the staff said they will miss his laughter and great sense of humor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step mother, Frances Davis.

Survivors include his step sisters, Teresa (Tom) Kennedy of Manitou, KY and Judy (Emmitt) Carney of Indianapolis, IN; and several cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville with his family giving his eulogy. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
