Romane Miller, 85, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023, at his home.

He was born on June 26, 1937, in Marion, KY, to the late Celia Davenport Starks and Burr Francis Miller. He enjoyed playing bingo, working word puzzles, and spending time with family. Romane attended Holiness Faith Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Peyton Miller; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his daughter and caregiver, Naomi (Tommy) Miller Choate of Madisonville; half-sister, Sharon Miller Kemp; half-brother, James Miller; grandson, Andrew (Bayleigh) Blake Coble of Madisonville; granddaughter, Ashlee (Terry) Kaylene Coble of Madisonville; great-granddaughter, Anyia Coble; great-grandsons, Jamie Dudley and Jaxton Dudley; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Hendricks officiating. Burial to follow at Rose Creek Cemetery in Nebo, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Shannon Peyton, Erik Peyton, Gary W. Peyton, Tommy Peyton, Stephen Peyton, Joey Peyton, and Terry Starks. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Baird, Zach Baird, Andrew Coble, Ashlee Coble, Anyia Coble, Jamie Dudley, and Jaxton Dudley.
