Roger Dale Talley, 71, of Mt. Juliet, TN formerly of Madisonville, KY passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at his home.

He was born on February 1, 1948 in Madisonville, KY to the late Ralph Edward Talley and Mary Catherine Nash Talley. Roger was a United States Air Force Veteran and was retired from AT&T. He enjoyed riding and traveling on his yamaha Raider.

Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Joan Talley; daughter, Stephanie Ruth Talley Harris; son, Michael Dale Talley; sister, Linda Kay (Mark) Talley Sandidge; grandchildren, Maverick John Harris, Avery Mackenzie Harris, Bentley Pierce Harris, Quincey Lane Talley, Ace Brennan Talley and Bowen Elyse Talley; niece, Leigh Baldwin; and his nephew, Bryan Sandidge.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with his son, Michael Talley officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville with military honors conducted graveside by the Hopkins County Honor Guard.

The visitation will be from Noon until the service hour Friday at the funeral home.
