Roger Dale Rickard, 62, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at his home.

He was born on October 24, 1959, in Madisonville, KY, to Evelyn Cates Rickard and the late Jackie Rickard. He was formerly employed by Cimarron Coal Mines. He loved his dog, Percy. Roger attended Covenant Community Church.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Rickard.

Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Rickard of Madisonville; wife, Connie Qualls Rickard of Madisonville; daughters, Jessica McFadden and Jennifer Kellam, both of Nortonville, KY; sister, Kathy (Danny) Law of Madisonville; four granddaughters; and several nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro Danny Lutz and Rev. Scott Qualls officiating. Burial to follow at Slaughters Cemetery in Slaughters, KY.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Scott Alkire, Jesse Rickard, Joshua Rickard, Eddie Darrow, Ashley McKnight, and Monty Walker. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Johnson, and Danny Law.
