Robert "Bob" Lantrip, 70, of Nebo, KY passed away on August 2, 2017 at his home.

He was born on August 12, 1946 in Madisonville to the late Sarah and Toby Lantrip. Bob was formerly a coal miner and was owner and operator of Lantrips Grocery in Nebo. He was a member of Nebo Methodist Church and he was a Kentucky Colonel. Bob enjoyed being a junk trader and driving in the demolition derby's.

Survivors include his wife of forty years, Karen Morgan Lantrip; daughter, Wendy Will and husband, Tyson of Henderson, KY; sons, William Lantrip and wife, Melinda of Nebo and Marty Lantrip and wife, Toni of Dawson Springs, KY; sister, Patsy Hughes of Clay, KY; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one nephew.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Billy Parrish officiating. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery in Nebo.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Chris Winstead, Tyson Will, Cameron Brown, Kim Gipson, Glen Lynn and David Donaldson.
