Robert E. Hibbs, 66, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at his home.

He was born on January 9, 1949 in Madisonville, KY to Madeline Hibbs of Madisonville and the late Eugene Marshall Hibbs. Robert was a United States Air Force Veteran and was employed with the City of Madisonville Parks Department. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to his mother survivors include brothers, John Marshall Hibbs and wife, Anita of Altamont, KS and Mark Thomas Hibbs of Lexington, KY; sister, Leslie Huddleston of Madisonville; four nephews and one niece.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2015 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Jim McMurtrie officiating and Dr. Stephen Seaford assisting. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour Monday at the funeral home.
