Robert Wayne Garvin, 71, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville.

He was born on November 5, 1954, in Glendale, CA to the late Frances E. Vanderhoeven Garvin and Robert D. Garvin. Robert was a United States Navy veteran and was formerly a self employed plumber.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Michael Garvin.

Survivors include his son, Isaiah Garvin of Clarksville, TN; sisters, Kimberly Garvin and Kathlyn Grube; grandchildren, Mackenzie Garvin, Judah Garvin and Nina Garvin; and his nephew, Trevor.

A private memorial service will be held. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.
