Robert "Bobby" Eugene Brown, 78, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on April 1, 1939 in Earlington, KY to the late, Pansy and Richard Brown. He was formerly employed as a coal miner and with Hawkins Auto Body. Bobby enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a collector of many things.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Orange; three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Patsy Brown of Madisonville; sons, Timmy Foe and wife, Patsy of Madisonville and Robert D. Brown of Clarksville, TN; daughters, Pat Gibson of Peoria, AZ, Elaine Vanlue and husband, Shawn of Nebo, KY and Tonya Brown of Madisonville; brothers, Charles Brown and wife, Joy of Madisonville and Wayne Mitchell and wife, June of Earlington, KY; twenty-two grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2017 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Stephen Browning officiating. Burial to be held at a later date.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service hour Sunday at the funeral home.
