Robert G. Bouchard, 75, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 4:38 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, Tn.

He was born on January 24, 1939 in Haverill, MA to the late Clara M. Bouchard and Welford A. Bouchard. He was a retired United States Navy Veteran and was formerly a computer executive with BASICS. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Newcom Bouchard; three brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by his second wife, Tommye Bouchard; his daughter, Judith (John) Belt of Oswego, NY; his son, Jerry (Bobbie) Woodring of Clay, KY; his sister, Sylvia C. Bouchard of New Hampshire; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Madisonville with Rev. Hughlan Richey officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements. Burial to follow at Rosebud Cemetery in Marion, Ky. Military honors will be conducted graveside by the United States Navy. Pallbearers will be the deacons of First Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at Harris Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at First Baptist Church in Madisonville.

Memorial contributions may be made in Robert's memory to First Baptist Church Building Fund or Gideons International. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
